PI Engineer (m/f/d) Your area of responsibility: In this role, you act as an interface between production, pharma engineering and ITOT. You actively help shape the digital landscape of our production site by not only maintaining existing systems but also building the data structure of the future. You have sound knowledge in the field of AVEVA PI and possess experience in the connection and lifecycle maintenance of automation systems. A comprehensive understanding of network technology and system integration in an industrial context is essential. Furthermore, you bring several years of professional experience as an automation or system engineer, ideally including project management experience in a GMP-regulated environment. System Architect: You are responsible for the connection of automation systems to our Data Historian (AVEVA PI) including the configuration of the corresponding interfaces and the continuous maintenance over the lifecycle of these systems. Solution Design: Together with internal business partners, you analyze requirements for the PI system and implement optimal, GMP-compliant solutions. Project Management: You plan and process projects with a focus on PI Historian – from specification to handover to operations. Operation & Support: Together with the team, you ensure administration and smooth operation (including error analysis, root-cause analyses and deviation handling). Compliance: You manage change control processes as well as qualification and validation activities according to Roche guidelines. Knowledge Transfer: You train employees and support our customers with technical questions as well as authority inspections.
