Das Sonderschulheim Mätteli: not strange, but rather special!

Das Sonderschulheim Mätteli offers two KaB places and one KIG crisis intervention place (365-day operation) for children and adolescents with cognitive impairment and extraordinary care needs. Safety, support, and assistance are at the center of our intensive care.

Immediately or by arrangement, we are looking for

a Night Watch Specialist ##

employment level: 30% (average approx. 5 nights per month)

You will: ###

• perform solo night watch duties from 21.30 - 7.15 (an additional on-call service is on site)
• provide security, support, and peace to the children and adolescents during the night
• assist with medication management
• call upon the on-call service for additional security if required; if necessary, you will also call in external specialist agencies - e.g., SECURITAS or police
• ensure the flow of information between the night and day shifts
• optionally take on further tasks upon consultation, depending on capacity

You bring with you: ###

• joy in working with children and adolescents with cognitive and multiple impairments with extraordinary care needs
• professional training and/or professional experience in the nursing sector and/or the security sector
• high reliability and resilience, composure, and patience
• impeccable reputation
• working capacities sometimes on weekends
