Do you want to not only discuss AI, but also implement it concretely? With our AI for Operational Excellence initiative, we want to use AI precisely where it makes our daily work simpler, more efficient and more impactful. Our focus is on our support processes, for example in HR, Finance, GRC, Marketing & Communications, internal IT and Logistics. For this, we are looking for a person who combines business understanding and technical competence. Together with our specialized teams, you identify concrete potential for improvement, develop AI solutions from them and accompany them with our IT specialists from the prototype to production. You are neither a classic Data Scientist nor a simple Software Engineer. You evolve at the interface between the business, AI and technology, ensuring that good ideas become solutions with a measurable benefit. ###

You are passionate about...

• close collaboration with our specialized teams to understand processes and identify concrete use cases for AI
• translating business challenges into feasible AI use cases and accompanying them from the prototype to the pilot and then to the productive solution
• the development and configuration of AI-based solutions, copilots and agents as well as their integration with existing data, applications and processes
• the relevant integration of solutions into our system, data and security landscape in collaboration with internal IT and enterprise architecture specialists
• the pragmatic evaluation of the best implementation path: buy, configure or build
• the provision and structuring of the data necessary for each use case
• the development of reusable components, patterns and best practices so that successful approaches can be used beyond individual use cases
• the active sharing of your knowledge and the empowerment of your colleagues so that they use AI autonomously and responsibly

You impress us with...

• a background in computer science, business informatics or data science, or equivalent practical experience
• your experience in implementing AI or GenAI solutions and your understanding of what separates a convincing prototype from a productive solution
• your familiarity with LLMs, RAG, AI agents, APIs and data integration
• your knowledge of the Microsoft AI ecosystem, for example Copilot Studio, Azure AI Services, Azure AI Foundry or Microsoft Fabric; knowledge of Abacus ERP and BI solutions is a plus
• your development skills, for example with Python, APIs or similar technologies, and your pragmatic management of existing solutions
• your ability to quickly understand new business processes and to explain technical possibilities to non-technicians
• your enjoyment of experimenting, building prototypes quickly and evolving functional approaches into robust solutions
