The extra-familial care sector (SMA) of the SJ is composed of a small, committed team working for the quality of child care. The SMA is the competent authority for the evaluation, authorization, monitoring, and support of extra-familial care. In this varied and meaningful field of activity, you can utilize and develop your social and professional skills.

This position is for a fixed term until 31 December 2027.

Your tasks

• Evaluation, authorization, and monitoring of childminders within the framework of the implementation of the ordinance on foster families
• Support and advice for care arrangements

Desired profile

• Master or Bachelor in social work or recognized equivalent training
• Interest in the fields of child protection and social pedagogy
• Ability to analyze complex situations and identify the essentials
• Sense of organization, resistance to stress, team spirit
• Driver's license required
• Proficiency in German (oral/written) with good knowledge of French
