PROJECT MANAGER STRUCTURAL DESIGN CIVIL ENGINEERING 80-100% - ZÜRICH

YOUR TASKS:

• Project management of versatile and demanding new construction and renovation projects from planning to commissioning
• Design of structural concepts and construction engineering solutions for new buildings and renovations in cooperation with clients, architects, or specialists from other departments of AFRY
• Processing of geotechnical issues including planning and realization of excavation pits, structural foundations, and terrain stabilization
• Project management in compliance with cost, quality, and schedule targets
• Leadership and technical guidance of the project team
• Supporting the team and department managers in the acquisition of new projects
• Supporting the department manager in maintaining existing and establishing new customer contacts

YOUR PROFILE:

• Completed studies as a Diplomingenieur or Master in Civil Engineering (ETH/FH/TU)
• Very good oral and written communication skills in German
• In-depth knowledge in the field of statics / construction of solid, steel, and timber structures, in the field of geotechnics and foundation engineering, as well as in the application of corresponding FEM calculation software (SOFiSTiK, AxisVM, CUBUS)
• Several years of planning experience as a project engineer or project manager in structural design across all planning and realization phases
• Flair for the design and implementation of efficient and economical structures and the application of modern design tools
• Motivated to plan and realize projects digitally, e.g., in the application of the BIM method and 3D coordination tools
• Communicative, solution- and customer-oriented, as well as entrepreneurial-minded personality
