In order to strengthen our team and support the development of our activities, we are looking for our future Transport & Logistics Manager to join Celsa-Charmettes SA, a long-established and recognized company in the petroleum products sector.

Transport and logistics manager 100%

With your team of approximately 20 employees, you will ensure smooth, efficient operation in compliance with our service quality requirements.

Operational management

• Ensure the operational coordination of transport and logistics activities.
• Plan and manage transport activities by optimizing the use of vehicles, personnel, and available resources, while continuously seeking efficiency and cost gains

Budget management and optimization

• Establish budget planning related to transport operations.
• Monitor operational costs and propose appropriate optimization measures

Management and internal collaboration

• Supervise, support, and develop drivers as well as dispatch managers
• Collaborate closely with internal departments to ensure effective coordination of activities.
• Participate in organizational developments in connection with the evolution of operational needs

Safety, compliance, and administrative follow-up

• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety instructions.
• Monitor and manage vehicle compliance (maintenance and technical inspections)
• Prepare accident reports and ensure follow-up with customers and the insurer

Digitalization and service quality

• Pursue the digitalization of logistics processes in order to progress gradually towards paperless logistics.
• Guarantee a high level of service, quality, and customer orientation.

Your profile

To succeed in this responsible position, you ideally have a profile combining operational skills, management sense, and orientation towards continuous improvement.

Training and experience

• Initial training in logistics, technical, or commercial fields, ideally supplemented by continuing education in transport and logistics operations management.
• Several years of experience in an operational responsibility role, preferably in the field of logistics and transport

Management and organization

• Solid knowledge in personnel management and process optimization.
• Proven experience in the supervision, support, and development of employees or teams

Digital skills and continuous improvement

• Good IT skills and a strong interest in digital logistics processes
• Entrepreneurial spirit, sense of priorities, and a good understanding of issues related to costs, quality, and productivity
