Faced with the development of new infrastructures and the evolution of its activities and organization, the tl wish to strengthen their process-based functioning by deploying an integrated management system (IMS), serving performance, risk management, quality, and operational excellence.

IMS & Operational Excellence Manager

A major player in mobility in French-speaking Switzerland, Transports publics de la région lausannoise (tl) are pursuing their ambitious development, supported notably by strategic transformation projects.

Missions

Reporting to the Corporate Strategy and Transformation Direction, you will take responsibility for the Quality & Operational Excellence entity, composed of six people, including an Operational Excellence Manager, project managers, and specialists.

Your priority will be to design and deploy the tl integrated management system, then to ensure its ownership and long-term evolution.

Your responsibilities will notably include:

• Conducting a diagnostic of the existing situation to identify current practices, their level of maturity, and the main areas for improvement.
• Defining and deploying the architecture, governance, and operating principles of the IMS.
• Building and evolving the process mapping and supporting their managers in defining roles, indicators, and management methods.
• Ensuring the coherent integration of different mechanisms: security and safety, risk management, financial control, business continuity, information security, and document management.
• Making the IMS a true tool for management and performance, in close collaboration with the various corporate departments.
• Leading, with your team, the operational excellence approach by supporting business units in identifying and implementing improvement levers.

Beyond managing your team, you play a key role in the transformation of the organization. You translate strategic challenges into concrete actions and unite cross-functional teams around common priorities.

Candidate Profile

You benefit from higher education in engineering, business management, operations management, quality, or equivalent.

You must have proven experience in the design, construction, and deployment of an integrated management system within a complex organization.

You master process management, quality, and operational excellence approaches.

You combine systemic vision with field sense.

Beyond defining the framework, you enjoy implementing and supporting change directly with the business units.

You have experience managing teams of experts and cross-functional projects.

You know how to convince, unite, and work effectively with various stakeholders.

You perfectly master French. German is an asset.
