The contribution you can make

• Receive, check and store goods, as well as prepare and distribute them punctually
• Manage warehouse stocks, carry out internal transfers and guarantee material flows
• Execute picking orders and prepare deliveries for internal and external contacts
• Perform inventories, clarify stock differences and record corrections in the system
• Perform transport and handling activities with forklifts and other handling equipment in compliance with safety regulations
• Ensure order, cleanliness and safety in the warehouse area and collaborate on process optimizations

What distinguishes you

• Completed vocational training as a logistics specialist CFC
• Experience in warehouse management, picking as well as goods entry and exit operations
• Good IT skills at user level, ideally in the use of warehouse management systems (e.g. SAP)
• Reliable, accurate and structured working method, even in the presence of a high workload
• Physical stamina, sense of safety and willingness to perform practical activities in the warehouse context
• Willingness to undergo training and to carry the service weapon for self-protection

The Swiss Army Logistics Base (BLEs) is at the disposal of the troops. It provides all logistic services for the Swiss Army and, with its approximately 3500 employees and 12000 militia soldiers, manages the material, systems and infrastructure of the Swiss Army. In the workshop or in the office, indoors or outdoors: BLEs offers a wide range of jobs throughout Switzerland and for all tastes.

The Swiss Army employs over 9000 employees within the framework of four military professions and approximately 200 civilian professions, in 110 locations throughout the national territory. Furthermore, it provides for new recruits, training apprentices in over 30 professions.
