• IT - Software Engineering • Zürich • Contracting • Full-time • 01.09.2026 - 31.12.2026 • R, Shiny Your tasks: • Analysis of the existing application, architecture and codebase as well as identification of optimization and modernization potential • Development of a future-proof technical concept for the new user interface, taking the existing system landscape into account • Rebuilding and modernization of the GUI with a modern, maintainable and user-friendly technology • Ensuring compatibility between the new user interface and the existing R-based analysis and calculation models • Optimization of the user experience as well as improvement of existing workflows and processes within the application • Analysis, rectification and sustainable solution of existing weaknesses and technical deficits • Evaluation and implementation of additional analysis and performance improvements • Creation of technical documentation, installation and deployment instructions as well as conducting knowledge transfers for internal users • Close cooperation with specialist users to ensure a practice-oriented and efficient solution Your profile: • Several years of experience in development with R and in the implementation of data-driven applications • Sound knowledge in the development of GUI and web applications • Experience in the field of Data Analytics, statistical modeling and data analysis • Know-how in the visualization of complex data and analytical results • Experience in the design of software architectures as well as in the refactoring of existing applications • Ability to analyze existing systems and develop modern, sustainable solution approaches • Experience with modern frontend technologies, ideally in the environment of R/Shiny, web-based applications or comparable frameworks • Structured, independent and solution-oriented way of working with a high orientation towards quality • Fluent German skills
