Security Employee External Patrol Federal Asylum Center 100% (m/f/d)

In the extraordinary and highly exciting working environment of the Federal Asylum Centers, we are looking for flexible and well-groomed employees starting immediately or by arrangement. Together with your motivated team, you are responsible for the guarding of Federal Asylum Centers. You fulfill security-relevant tasks in a sensitive environment and demonstrate your human and service-oriented sensitivity every day. You will be specifically trained for your tasks and take responsibility for the protection of people and infrastructure.

Your task as a security employee:

• Protection of persons and infrastructure
• Preventive action and promotion of the subjective sense of security
• Patrol activities in the vicinity of the federal centers
• Intervention in emergencies
• Supporting the security forces in the federal center in enforcing peace and order
• Dealing with recalcitrant persons while maintaining proportionality
• Support during evacuations
• Support as needed for compliance with house rules
• Cooperation with accommodation services and emergency services (blue light organizations)
• Support with person searches
• Guarding during interrogations of partly recalcitrant persons
• Reporting of incidents and rule violations to the group leader
• Being available and flexible (readiness for shift work 24/7, including night and weekend shifts)
• Having initial experience in the security sector or an equivalent field (Do you have no security experience? We are happy to support you and carefully introduce you to the field of tasks)
• German minimum level B1, additionally you master another national language or English minimum level A2
• Strong powers of observation and attention to security-relevant details
• High sense of responsibility, initiative, reliability and confidentiality
• Friendly, calm and professional appearance even in challenging situations
• Intercultural sensitivity and communication strength in dealing with a wide variety of groups of people
• Resilience, teamwork, flexibility and well-groomed appearance
• Technical understanding in handling access control systems, alarm systems and other electronic devices
• Ability for situation-appropriate de-escalation and compliance with human rights
• Possession of a driving license category B as well as your own vehicle
