Kinderschutz Schweiz is an independent private law foundation operating throughout Switzerland. As a non-profit specialist organization, we advocate for all children in Switzerland to grow up in protection and dignity in the sense of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child. For this goal, we commit ourselves in a scientifically sound and consistent manner via prevention offers, political work, and awareness campaigns. We are looking for, as of immediately or by arrangement, a Research Associate (Jurisprudence) in the area of Politics and Public Affairs 70 % Tasks • Monitoring of legal and technical developments in the field of children's rights/protection • Preparation of scientific findings and legal requirements for the benefit of stakeholders in politics and society • Drafting of statements on relevant political matters • Legal analyses of policy proposals, such as legislative revisions or international standards and the other service delivery of Kinderschutz Schweiz • Project management of sub-projects in the Politics and Public Affairs area • Representation of the area in internal and external working groups and networks Profile • Degree at tertiary level in the field of law • Knowledge of civil law child protection, criminal law, as well as experience in political work • Excellent German and/or French skills with very good oral and written skills in the respective other language, any further language an advantage • Independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working Offer We offer you a meaningful and responsible activity in a dynamic environment with attractive working conditions in accordance with the guidelines of the Canton of Bern.
