Specialist Operations & Maintenance

For over 90 years, SN Energie AG has been using the energy of water in the Glarner Alps and reliably supplies its shareholder plants with electricity. Our core competencies include electricity production, electricity trading, energy data management, as well as other sales-oriented services for our partners and customers.

For operations at the Schwanden GL location as well as the maintenance of around 36 hydroelectric power plants in Switzerland, we are looking for a technically versatile personality. As an all-rounder, you ideally bring experience in one or more areas such as electrical engineering, mechanics, or hydraulics and enjoy familiarizing yourself with further specialist fields.

Main tasks

• Independent planning and execution of maintenance and repair work on electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems and components of our hydroelectric power plants
• Responsible for the safe operation of the hydroelectric power plants
• Participation in the maintenance of our maintenance tool
• Participation in the further development of our plant documentation
• Analysis and rectification of malfunctions as well as their documentation and initiation of measures

Requirement profile

• Basic technical training in the field of electrical engineering, electromechanics, mechanics, mechanical engineering, agricultural machinery technology, or a comparable training
• Enjoyment of interdisciplinary tasks in the areas of electrics, mechanics, and hydraulics
• Basic knowledge of electrical engineering is an advantage, experience in the field of electrical installations or operational maintenance is a plus
• Willingness for on-call duty and flexible working hours
