Project Manager Steel Construction

For our technical office in the steel construction sector - based in Bulle (FR), Denges (VD), Nyon (VD), Lyss (BE) or Arlesheim (BL) - we are looking for a German-speaking project manager. In collaboration with technicians, workshops, assembly and support, the main tasks are as follows: Project management (creation of schedules, monitoring of progress and resource planning, budget tracking, contract and financial management) Representation of the company and discussions with customers and representatives Technical development (design and dimensioning of structures, design and dimensioning of connection elements, monitoring and control of execution plans, quality assurance, safety and environmental aspects) Static calculations Material procurement requests and production start-up Preparation for assembly and construction site monitoring To complete your projects independently, efficiently and successfully, you have: Technical background and proven experience in steel construction (engineering structures: bridges, footbridges, buildings, sports facilities, etc.) Training in civil engineering or equivalent Good knowledge of current technical and safety-related standards Leadership qualities, responsiveness and foresight required to lead a project team and work closely with all internal and external stakeholders Creativity and pragmatism are required to lead a project in a balanced and independent manner. The ability to express oneself orally and in writing in German and French is essential.
