The contribution you can make

• Conduct investigations into cases involving criminal organizations (art. 260ter CP)
• Conduct investigative procedures at the police and criminal procedure levels, including all related coercive measures and coordination in Switzerland and abroad
• Provide assistance within the scope of all possible surveillance measures in criminal procedure matters
• Execute and conduct police operations
• Conduct interrogations and draft reports, predominantly in German, ideally also in Italian/French

What distinguishes you

• Professional certificate as a <<police officer>>, category B driving license
• Several years of professional experience in the judicial police sector, excellent knowledge of police tactics and techniques, criminal law and criminal procedure
• Good writing skills, analytical and interdisciplinary approach, psychophysical resilience and flexibility
• Good active knowledge of two official languages and English; additional linguistic and/or cultural skills within the scope of relevant activities constitute a preferential qualification

The Federal Judicial Police at fedpol investigates serious forms of crime within the scope of criminal proceedings of the Confederation and within the framework of crime categories under its responsibility. It provides operational support to the Cantons and foreign authorities within the scope of criminal and judicial police tasks. It guarantees coordination on a national and international scale for various crime categories and prepares criminal analyses and police reports on the situation. It also serves as a national competence center for the fight against digital crime.
