Job Summary

As a Project Engineer at Nestlé Suisse S.A., your mission is to prepare and implement industrial investment projects, from the initial study to commissioning. You will make a difference by collaborating closely with engineering, production, safety, finance, and purchasing teams, as well as with external suppliers and partners. This key role will allow you to connect with specialists, develop your expertise, and create an impact for the factory.

Your impact as a Project Engineer

• Lead industrial investment projects from need definition to commissioning, respecting deadlines, costs, scope, quality, and safety.
• Design technical solutions adapted to the factory's needs for installations such as piping, pumps, production equipment, and packaging lines.
• Develop studies, budget estimates, schedules, and investment requests in order to secure decisions and project realization.
• Anticipate technical, operational, and site-related risks, then implement the necessary measures to protect people, equipment, and operational continuity.
• Coordinate suppliers, purchasing, supplier testing, and on-site work, while ensuring the monitoring of work permits, installation, and costs.
• Conduct commissioning, team training, and transfer to operations to ensure a sustainable performance ramp-up of the new installations.

What will make you successful in the role

• Holder of an engineering degree or equivalent (mechanical, electrical, process, industrial, or similar engineering).
• Bring expertise in managing investment projects in an industrial environment, ideally in the food industry.
• Apply a structured approach to master deadlines, costs, scope, risks, and change management.
• Use your technical judgment to analyze needs, establish estimates, and drive decisions autonomously.
• Communicate proactively, transparently, and appropriately with internal teams, suppliers, and site partners to anticipate difficulties and maintain alignment of all stakeholders.
• Communicate fluently in French and English, both orally and in writing.
• Demonstrate courage, collaboration, reactivity, and curiosity.
