GERSPACH AG in Basel is a traditional, owner-managed trading company for fuels and combustibles. For over 100 years, we have been successfully active in the energy market – in Northwestern Switzerland and beyond.

As a personal and reliable energy partner, we supply private customers as well as companies from commerce, trade, transport, industry, and administration.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a communicative sales personality who enjoys direct customer contact and is happy to take on responsibility.

Your tasks

You are an important contact person for our customers and accompany them personally from the inquiry to the order.

• Active telephone sales to existing regular customers and new customers
• Competent advice regarding our products and current market prices
• Building and maintaining long-term, trusting customer relationships
• Creation of offers and price quotations
• Receipt, recording, and independent processing of customer orders
• Processing of sales activities directly on the PC
• Reliable maintenance of our customer and sales data in the CRM system

What you bring with you

• Completed 3-year commercial basic training EFZ
• Joy in selling, advising, and in daily contact with people
• Very good user knowledge in MS Office
• Exact, reliable, and responsible way of working
• Independence and the willingness to think ahead and take on responsibility
• Swiss German as a native language as well as knowledge in at least one other language (French or English)
• Driver's license at least category B

Sales experience is an advantage – but for us, personality also counts. Therefore, both experienced sales professionals and motivated talents who want to develop further in sales are welcome.
