Dispatcher in Freight Goods Transport

This is what you can move.

• You manage and monitor shunting operations in the Limmattal marshalling yard and are responsible for ensuring high quality.
• As a dispatcher, you take the lead in freight management and coordinate the available resources in consultation with the shift management and the central dispatch of SBB Cargo.
• You ensure the operational flow of information within the dispatch level, as well as to the colleagues from SBB Infrastruktur in the RB Limmattal. In addition, you coordinate with marshalling yards, cargo teams throughout Switzerland and the headquarters of SBB Cargo.
• If necessary, you inform the production planning partners, the partner railways and the infrastructure companies.

• Precision is one of your strengths and a proactive and independent way of working distinguishes you.
• You show willingness and enjoyment in working in 24-hour shift service.
• A completed commercial or adequate vocational training distinguishes you.
• You already work in a dispatch or in a control center and bring a pronounced understanding of operational safety.
• Good IT user skills and the willingness to learn the SBB internal programs.
• You communicate very well in German, both spoken and written (at least C1).
