Computer Vision Specialist

For our client, an IT service company in Lausanne, we are looking for an experienced computer vision specialist.

Tasks

• Development of new real-time algorithms at the interface of computer vision and computer graphics
• Prototyping of new image-based machine learning algorithms and fine-tuning existing ones
• Evaluation of new requirements and implementation of new functions
• Finding and resolving performance bottlenecks
• Collaboration with testing and operations teams for high user-friendliness and reliability of the overall system

Profile

• MSc or higher in a STEM subject (Mathematics, Computer Science, Natural Sciences, Engineering)
• Background in image analysis, computer vision, and machine learning
• Good understanding of image formation as well as 2D and 3D computer vision algorithms
• Very good C++ skills
• Experience in implementing machine learning algorithms in real-world applications with a focus on speed and efficiency
• Experience with machine vision tools such as Cognex, PLC tools, TwinCAT 3.0, Rockwell
• Good problem-solving and communication skills
• Knowledge in computer graphics, color science and/or human visual perception
• Experience with deep learning
• Know-how in GPU computing (CUDA)
• Familiar with modern development processes such as agile methods, testing, and continuous integration
