Tasks You can expect an exciting and challenging role in an exceptional environment - as well as an excellent team with a remarkable working atmosphere. • Maintenance, upkeep and modification of our flight simulators, including computers and peripherals • Fault diagnosis and troubleshooting in close collaboration with other engineers • Ensure availability and operational readiness of the simulators • Continuous updates to improve the performance and accuracy of the training devices • Close collaboration with other departments to ensure the smooth integration of simulators into the training environment • Competent and service-oriented point of contact for our international customers • Participation in various projects Behind the scenes Benefits Attractive company pension scheme, subsidized parking or public transport, 13th month, corporate health management, flight benefits, employee events and networking Requirements For you to get off to a good start in this role, a few elements are important to us. Discover the skills and qualities we are looking for in you. • Completed professional training as a CFC automation technician, CFC electronics technician or comparable technical qualification with at least 5 years of professional experience • A higher technical qualification at HF level is desirable • Experience in electronics / microelectronics and IT • Solid expertise in fault diagnosis and troubleshooting of complex systems required • Knowledge of C++ and C programming languages, Unix/Linux/Windows operating systems and TCP/IP networks • Experience in the maintenance of aeronautical systems (avionics) is an advantage • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and in shifts • Strong teamwork skills, initiative and high stress resistance • Good command of English, both written and spoken Company About Lufthansa Aviation Training Switzerland AG About Lufthansa Aviation Training Lufthansa Aviation Training (LAT) is among the world leaders in the field of pilot training and employs approximately 700 employees at ten training sites in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the United States.
