System Engineer Cloud Technologies (80 - 100%)

Introduction

Cloud technologies at Belimo are more than IT infrastructure: they enable collaboration, security, and efficiency on a global level. In this role, you will take responsibility for central Microsoft 365, Azure, and Identity Services and actively shape their further development.

You will work at the interface of operations, security, and innovation: you will keep critical services running reliably, modernize existing solutions, and evaluate new technologies for use at Belimo. In doing so, you will work closely with IT teams, other departments, and external partners and ensure that our cloud landscape remains high-performing, secure, and future-proof.

What you will do

• You will take responsibility for defined cloud services - from Active Directory/Entra ID to Microsoft 365 to security and Azure topics.
• Configuration and further development of existing and new services as well as their integration into the system landscape - with a focus on security and usability - are also part of your tasks.
• You recognize where existing solutions can be improved and ensure that new technologies arrive meaningfully at Belimo.
• You help to implement Belimo's global IT strategy into practice and ensure that concrete improvements for our users arise from it.
• In cross-departmental projects, you support the business and make complex technical topics understandable and usable.
• You enjoy collaborating with internal teams and external partners - in doing so, you represent Belimo's interests towards service providers.
• You enjoy identifying automation potential so that recurring tasks become easier and more efficient.
• In complex service requests and incidents, you contribute at the 3rd level and help together with the team to keep our services stable and reliable.

Who you are

• You have completed training in the field of computer science.
• Several years of experience in a similar role in the infrastructure or system environment distinguish you.
• Good knowledge of Active Directory and Entra ID is a matter of course for you.
• Likewise, you have sound knowledge of Microsoft Teams (telephony and collaboration), Defender, SharePoint, and Exchange (hybrid).
• Knowledge in Endpoint Management is a plus.
• Knowledge in Azure Cloud Computing and Azure Services is an advantage.
• You have already participated in IT projects and value the exchange with various stakeholders to find good solutions together.
• You bring very good English skills as well as at least conversational German skills.
