As a DevOps Engineer, you take ownership of our DevOps topics and actively help shape our platform and processes through automation, GitOps, and CI/CD. You improve deployment and operations on OpenShift, question existing structures, and develop simple, effective solutions – together with software developers, architects, security, and partners. Area of responsibility

• Responsibility for the operation and further development of central platform components such as OpenShift, Container Registry, and Monitoring (On-Premise)
• Construction, maintenance, and further development of standardized build, test, and release processes
• Support and gradual modernization of our existing DevOps toolchain (TeamCity, IIS)
• Proactive incident management to ensure stability and performance
• Ensuring security, compliance, and governance requirements in the deployment environment
• Evaluation of new technologies and tools for the continuous improvement of the platform and processes
• Creation and maintenance of technical documentation and best practices
• Support of our development teams with containerization, deployment, and operation of their applications
• Close cooperation with development, architecture, and IT security

Requirement profile

• Completed Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a comparable role, as well as a sound understanding of build, test, release, and DevOps processes
• Experience with containers and platforms such as Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift, as well as with container registries (e.g., Harbor)
• Practice with CI/CD and Git, ideally with ArgoCD, Tekton, and TeamCity
• Experience with monitoring and logging (e.g., ELK-Stack, Sentry) as well as with security and compliance requirements in the container environment
• C# and/or React knowledge is an advantage
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills, quick comprehension, and high problem-solving competence
• Joy in designing processes simply and effectively and consistently focusing on added value and security
• Strong communication skills as well as experience in the target-group-oriented communication of platforms, processes, and knowledge
• Team-oriented, proactive way of working and high self-motivation
• Experience with agile working methods and prioritization
• Very good German and English skills in spoken and written form
