With nearly 47'500 affiliates — companies and the self-employed combined — it is one of the essential players in social protection in French-speaking Switzerland. On a daily basis, its teams manage the collection of 2,425 billion in AVS and unemployment insurance contributions, as well as the payment of more than 876 million francs in AVS, AI, and loss of earnings benefits. In parallel, they ensure the administration of family allowances and the application of collective labor agreements. A demanding technical scope, serving thousands of companies and their insured persons — where every file has a direct impact on the professional and social lives of the individuals concerned. Job Description Your mission Reporting to the CIAM Management, your mission is to lead the Loss of Earnings Benefits (APG) department. In this capacity, you ensure the management of a team, the operational supervision of files and payments, as well as coordination with internal and external partners. Your responsibilities Department Management and Leadership You manage and organize the APG department on a daily basis to guarantee performance and quality. You supervise, mobilize, and develop a team of approximately six employees, by setting clear objectives and supporting their evolution. Operational Supervision You supervise the processing of files and ensure the compliance of decisions as well as the quality of benefits. You secure payments by ensuring the necessary controls, validations, and signatures, while guaranteeing compliance with the legal framework. Coordination and Projects You represent the department to internal and external partners and develop effective collaborations. You lead department projects and actively contribute to organizational and digital developments. Monitoring and Continuous Improvement You manage complex files, ensure regular reporting to Management, and utilize performance indicators. You identify and deploy continuous improvement actions to optimize processes, quality, and efficiency. Profile Sought You hold a Bachelor's, Master's, or HES degree in law, economics, management, or an equivalent field, with a federal diploma as a social insurance specialist being an asset. You have at least five years of experience in the field of social insurance, ideally in APG, and have mastered the Swiss legal framework at both federal and cantonal levels. You demonstrate solid experience in team management. You have perfect command of French (C2 level) and good knowledge of German (B1–B2 level). You demonstrate unifying leadership, combining rigor, a sense of responsibility, and an analytical mind. You stand out through your strong organizational, decision-making, and interpersonal skills.
