Senior Java Backend Developer

• IT - Software Engineering • Bern • Contracting • Full-time • Immediately - 31.12.2027 • Java, Spring Boot, SQL Your tasks: • You design, develop and optimize central backend components • You analyze and resolve technical malfunctions to ensure stable and reliable operation • You implement new features from analysis through implementation to testing • You ensure the availability, performance, scalability and resource efficiency of the applications • You create and maintain technical documentation to ensure maintainability • You actively participate in an agile development team and also support in the areas of business analysis and testing if required • You work closely with interdisciplinary teams and continuously develop existing solutions • You participate in the optimization of modern software development and deployment processes   Your profile: • You have several years of experience in Java backend development, ideally in complex and highly available system landscapes • You have very good knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, SQL and Hibernate • You have experience with cloud-native technologies such as Docker, OpenShift, Helm and Git • You are familiar with messaging and event-driven architectures • You have experience with Continuous Integration as well as tools such as Maven, Jenkins or comparable solutions • Ideally, you have knowledge of Kafka, Grafana, Linux, ArgoCD as well as other modern development tools • You are interested in modern software architectures, AI-supported software development and the continuous further development of complex systems • You are characterized by an analytical and structured way of working as well as a quick grasp • You are a team-oriented personality with strong communication skills • You have very good German skills as well as good English skills
