Head of AVOR & Manufacturing Planning (80-100%) MW

Working region: Canton Schwyz

Do you want to actively further develop the manufacturing planning of an internationally active mechanical engineering company? In this key position, you will lead a small AVOR team, manage demanding manufacturing orders, and specifically drive forward modern production concepts such as automation and unmanned manufacturing.

Tasks
Technical and personnel leadership of the AVOR team
Planning, coordination, and monitoring of ongoing manufacturing orders
Support of the soft and hard machining areas as well as the training workshop
Creation and responsibility for precise offers for demanding contract manufacturing projects
Pre- and post-calculation of complex components and manufacturing orders
Analysis of economic efficiency and development of suitable measures for yield optimization
Support and coordination of customer projects in contract manufacturing
Further development of automation, multi-machine operation, and unmanned manufacturing
Initiation and implementation of continuous improvement projects
Optimization of manufacturing processes, lead times, and resource utilization
Ensuring high schedule, cost, and quality performance

Qualification
Technical basic training, for example as a polymechanic
Further training as a process specialist, technical clerk, technician HF, or comparable qualification
Several years of professional and leadership experience in manufacturing, AVOR, or contract manufacturing
Sound experience in the quoting system as well as in the pre-calculation of demanding components
Confident handling of ERP systems and modern manufacturing technologies
Interest in automation and the further development of efficient production processes
Very good German skills as well as business fluent English skills
Entrepreneurial thinking and strong cost awareness
Communicative, solution-oriented, and appreciative leadership personality
