The Finanzverwaltung is responsible for the central tasks in the financial area of the canton. Here, the budget and financial plan as well as the state accounts including the annual report are coordinated and prepared. It is responsible for the accounting of the canton with the necessary IT systems. In addition, the Finanzverwaltung manages all investments and debts of the canton and is responsible for central payment transactions and property insurance. Furthermore, the Finanzverwaltung functions as a competence center for the financial internal control system (IKS) of the canton. This broad range of tasks requires working intensively with all departments and enterprises, developing sustainable solutions together, and communicating appropriately.

What to expect ##

• Collaboration in the processing of accounts payable invoices
• Support in the booking of business transactions and collaboration in the annual financial statements
• Entry and maintenance of budget data
• Insight into the management of certificates of loss
• Assumption of administrative tasks (e.g., scanning of documents, mail processing, document filing)
• Collaboration on various (digital) projects of the Finanzverwaltung

• Interest in finance and accounting
• Careful and reliable way of working
• Discretion and sense of responsibility
• Teamwork skills and independence
• Good MS-Office knowledge. Knowledge of the IT system Infoma New-System is an advantage
