Zuger Kantonsspital serves the health of the population of the Canton of Zug and the surrounding regions. Around 1'200 employees, of whom 180 are in initial and advanced training, are active in a wide variety of areas. Every year, we treat and care for over 11'500 inpatient and over 70'000 outpatient patients. In the interdisciplinary emergency center, more than 27'500 people are treated annually.

For our emergency center, we are looking for a Head of Nursing Emergency Center 80 - 100 % as of 1 April 2027 or by arrangement.

Your tasks ##

• Professional, personnel, and organizational leadership of our emergency station as well as co-responsibility for the quality and development of nursing
• Ensuring professional, safe, and patient-oriented nursing according to the nursing mission statement of Zuger Kantonsspital as well as the Skill- and Grademix concept
• Participation in the further development of new standards and in process optimization
• Ensuring core processes while considering quality specifications
• Result-oriented interdisciplinary cooperation with all stakeholders
• Participation in the core operational business

Your profile ##

• Dipl. nursing professional (AKP/DN II/HF/FH) with additional training as NDS emergency nursing and several years of professional experience in acute care as well as management training or the willingness to complete such
• Proven leadership experience and corresponding further training
• Ability to motivate employees as well as assertiveness
