System Engineer Electrical Railway Technology

You take on technical responsibility for the planning, design and integration of electrical systems during the modernization of rail vehicles.

Tasks

• System responsibility for electrical vehicle components such as on-board networks, drive and traction systems
• Development of technical concepts, specifications and integration solutions
• Creation and maintenance of engineering documentation such as circuit diagrams and cable lists
• Technical support of suppliers including design reviews and acceptances
• Support of assembly, production and commissioning as well as functional tests
• Carrying out analyses and variant evaluations for modernization solutions
• Cooperation with customers and testing bodies as well as support in certification matters

Profile

• Completed degree FH/University in electrical engineering, mechatronics or automation
• Several years of experience in the railway environment, ideally system or vehicle technology
• Knowledge of railway-specific standards such as EN and TSI is an advantage
• Structured and solution-oriented way of working
• Team-oriented personality with communication skills
• Very good German skills, good English skills
