The Sports and Physical Activity Service is responsible for implementing the municipal policy of the Ville d’Yverdon-les-Bains regarding sport and physical activity. It acts in close coordination with the communal sports network, cantonal authorities, and the Confederation. Its main missions consist of supporting sports clubs, organizing and accompanying sporting events, encouraging the free and inclusive practice of physical activity, as well as planning, developing, and managing the municipality's sports infrastructures.

In this context, we are looking for a:

Manager of sports facility operations at 100%

Job mission:

• Guarantee efficient, safe, and high-quality operation, while ensuring a regular presence at the sports facilities and a good understanding of operational realities.
• Plan, coordinate, and optimize human resources according to the needs of the facilities, events, and operating periods.
• Develop the autonomy, versatility, and skills of employees, by promoting responsibility and initiative.
• Manage unforeseen events and managerial situations, notably absences, replacement needs, conflicts, and situations requiring decision-making.
• Occasionally participate in operational activities by integrating with the teams and intervening directly in the field.

Your profile:

• Holder of a CFC, ideally in a technical, sports, operational field, or deemed equivalent.
• Confirmed experience in leading and developing an operational team, with real practice in proximity management.
• Asserted leadership and ability to provide a framework, delegate, empower, and make decisions, including in complex situations.
• Experience in the operation of infrastructures, ideally sports, technical, or public, with a strong sense of service, safety, and quality.
• Organized, structured, and autonomous personality, endowed with an excellent sense of priorities, responsibilities, and communication.
• Good mastery of standard IT tools, as well as planning and team management tools.
