Cutting Tool Methods Technician (M/F)

On behalf of one of our clients, we are looking for a Cutting Tool Methods Technician (M/F). Your future responsibilities: • You will define and make available the cutting tools necessary for the industrialization of new products. • You will select the tooling solutions adapted to the new machining means. • You will maintain a close technical link with suppliers in order to guarantee tool performance. • You will ensure the monitoring and optimization of cutting tool performance in production. • You will manage and update technical data as well as associated documentation (plans, standards, reference states). • You will standardize practices and contribute to the sustainability of technical know-how. • You will lead continuous improvement actions aimed at optimizing costs, quality and productivity. • You will act as the technical referent for cutting tools to internal and external partners. • You will collaborate closely with production in order to provide operational technical support. • You will ensure active technological monitoring by participating in professional trade fairs and conducting feasibility studies. Your profile: • You hold a CFC in polymechanic, an ES Technician diploma or training deemed equivalent. • You have solid skills in machining and cutting tool management, with particular expertise in stainless steels and precious metals. • You master CAD/CAM software, ideally CREO. • You enjoy teamwork and demonstrate a real interest in the field. • You adopt a methodical and rigorous approach, with good analytical and synthesis skills. • You are proactive and capable of communicating effectively across departments. • You adapt easily to various environments (industrialization, workshops, suppliers).
