What you can achieve • Responsibility for the operation, monitoring, and further development of pre-production environments for security-relevant systems and applications • Ensuring a stable and efficient system landscape during the integration and quality phase before production release • Administering and operating Linux-based systems as well as containerized platforms based on Kubernetes • Configuring, monitoring, and optimizing network components and communication infrastructures in the Cisco environment • Creating and maintaining technical documentation and supporting the continuous improvement of operational processes • Collaboration in incident, problem, and change management (1st, 2nd and 3rd level support) What you bring with you • Training or higher vocational education in the field of computer science or several years of practical experience as a System Administrator • Experience in the operation and administration of Linux systems • Experience in dealing with Kubernetes and containerized environments • Good knowledge in the network environment, preferably with Cisco technologies • Understanding of integration, test, and operational processes in complex ICT environments • Experience with automation and scripting languages is an advantage • Independent personality with strong communication and organizational skills • High customer and service orientation as well as a sense for user needs • Very good German skills as well as English skills (Level B1-B2) • Military career as a senior non-commissioned officer or officer is an advantage Salary and benefits Around 3000 employees from RUAG and RUAG Real Estate make an essential contribution to the security of Switzerland every day.
