Team Leader for Application Platforms Permanent position Organisation and Informatik In application management, we build and integrate applications for the inhabitants, companies and various service departments of the Stadt Zürich. In close cooperation with over 60 service departments and external partners, we work continuously on digitalization and progress for the Stadt Zürich through the constant expansion of our services. Our projects are implemented using agile software development methods and the necessary DevOps tools. In addition, we operate state-of-the-art container and middleware platforms. Help shape the digital future of the Stadt Zürich! Tasks You lead a team of 8 internal employees and ensure clear and actionable goals for your employees and monitor their achievement. You plan, lead, implement and coordinate changes as well as sub-projects on digital platform solutions. You develop business requirements in coordination with business managers, internal and external customers, IT service providers and suppliers for successful implementation. You bear the overall responsibility for the application platforms with several networked peripheral systems (e.g., Kubernetes container platforms such as Google Anthos, IBM BPM, Datapower, Apigee etc.). You lead and coordinate an interdisciplinary, cross-functional team of internal and external specialists. You set clear goals, establish governance structures, prioritize topics and ensure high team performance to achieve qualitative and scheduled goals. You work in an agile environment and are responsible for the planning and calculation of resources (personnel and budget) on behalf of the department head.
