Night Watchman/Watchwoman at 60%

The Fondation Armée du Salut Suisse is an important Christian non-profit organization recognized in Switzerland and throughout the world for its social work. In La-Tour-de-Peilz, Phare-Elim SA is a medico-social establishment welcoming 46 residents that offers a living space for dependent elderly people and also has a Centre d’Accueil Temporaire with 8 places. Our employees work daily for their well-being, while promoting a convivial lifestyle between residents, their loved ones, and the teams. To complete the existing team, we are looking for a night watchman/watchwoman. Your field of activity: As part of your duties, you ensure attentive care and support for the elderly, in coherence with the values and mission of our establishment. As a night watchman/watchwoman and with your colleague, you look after the comfort, well-being, and safety of our residents. You guarantee the continuity of care, emergency management, the proper execution of delegated medical acts, and the proper maintenance of care files. Sensitive to the needs of the residents, adapting to night-time care is obvious to you. You intervene autonomously in situations requiring an assessment or care. You also ensure the rigorous transmission of information in order to ensure an optimal handover with the day teams. You are willing to work during the week, two weekends per month, and on public holidays, from 19h30 to 7h30. What you bring: As an Auxiliaire en soins et accompagnement, you have professional experience and have preferably acquired knowledge of psycho-geriatric issues. Recognized for your autonomy, your calm, and your sense of responsibility, you appreciate night work and are perfectly comfortable with the requirements it involves. Reliable and committed, you work with a sense of service and team spirit. You demonstrate good physical and emotional resilience, necessary for a demanding and humanly rich environment. You are also conscientious and organized for administrative follow-up. You are capable of communicating with benevolence and clarity, and you maintain respectful relations with residents, their loved ones, and the multidisciplinary team. You are comfortable with usual IT tools, and more particularly the DIR. You share the Christian values of the Armée du Salut and have an interest in its social orientation. Previous experience in an EMS would be an asset for your application.
