As a Waste Logistics Expert, you will take on a key role in the field of waste logistics and ensure that all processes run safely, compliantly, and efficiently. Our full list of local benefits can be found below: Benefits in Visp: https://bit.ly/3wjkoFi Your tasks: Strategic and operational responsibility for waste-related activities; Ensuring compliance with all relevant GMP, safety, and environmental regulations as well as risk assessments; Close cooperation with production, laboratories, engineering, supply chain, EHS, and external disposal partners as a central interface; Early detection of operational challenges and initiation of appropriate measures; Monitoring the disposability of materials and ensuring alternative disposal routes (Business Continuity); Optimization of waste management processes using technological and data-driven approaches; Standardization of cross-functional waste processes and support for strategic projects; KPI control, preparation of reports, and derivation of improvement measures; Promotion of innovation, recycling, and sustainable solutions. What we are looking for: Degree in chemical/pharmaceutical technology, environmental technology, biotechnology, waste management, or comparable qualification - alternatively many years of practical experience in the relevant environment; At least 10 years of experience in chemical or biopharmaceutical production or many years of operational experience; Very good knowledge of safety standards (SECO, SUVA, EKAS), GMP, and handling hazardous substances; Familiarity with ERP and logistics systems such as SAP, DMS, TrackWise, EMS, Syncrotess or similar tools; Advanced IT and data analysis skills, especially MS Office, PowerBI, and reporting tools; Strong organizational and analytical skills, strategic thinking, and high resilience; Very good German and English skills; Ability to work cross-functionally and lead/develop teams in a deputy role.
