La Fondation Enfance Emma Couvreu has been actively committed since 1829 to the reception, protection, and support of minors at risk in their development. Our services are addressed to children as well as to their parents. We implement our actions in accordance with values that we embody daily. Our activities are fully aligned with the minor protection policy enacted by the State of Vaud. Driven by its commitment, the Foundation manages 5 boarding schools and 6 ambulatory units, mobilizing more than 250 female and male employees for this purpose.
As part of an exceptional humanitarian project, La Maison d'enfants de Pompaples was opened urgently in 2022 in order to welcome 61 Ukrainian orphans aged 4 to 12 and their companions.
In order to guarantee optimal support until the end of the humanitarian mission, we are looking for a social educator at 80%, for fixed-term contracts.
Job description
Ensure, in collaboration with colleagues, the daily support of the group of children aged 4 to 12, benefiting from minor protection measures, in accordance with the defined educational project
Propose and organize activities conducive to the proper development of the children
Perform nursing and educational care
Manage daily and administrative tasks
Your profile
Hold one of the following diplomas, or a title deemed equivalent

• Social educator HES or ES
• Early childhood educator
• CFC socio-educational assistant

Ideally, benefit from experience and continuing education in the field of childhood
Proven ability to manage, animate, and contain groups of children with behavioral disorders
Ability to work both alone with a group of children and to collaborate in a team
Driving license indispensable
