My challenges

• Monitoring and analysis of security-relevant events, structured processing of incidents, as well as ensuring sustainable follow-up
• Further development of detection and response processes in close coordination with SOC-related functions and IT stakeholders
• Coordination and evaluation of external penetration tests as well as vulnerability analyses with the derivation of concrete measures
• Operation and optimization of central security technologies, particularly in the areas of SIEM, EDR, network security, and attack detection
• Management of vulnerability management processes including remediation, patch cycles, and endpoint protection strategies
• Conception and implementation of targeted awareness measures, simulations, and training to strengthen security awareness

My competencies

• Completed studies in the field of Information Security, computer science, or in a comparable technical environment
• Further training or certifications in the field of Cyber Security or Ethical Hacking are an advantage
• Ideally existing certifications such as ISO/IEC 27001, CISSP, or TISAX® Auditor
• At least 3 years of experience in a comparable role, preferably in an internationally oriented environment
• Several years of practical experience in the implementation of security concepts and technical controls
• Experience in the environment of SOC/CSIRT structures as well as in handling security-critical incidents
• Confident handling of Microsoft 365, network security, and multi-layered IT architectures
• Sound knowledge in the use of security tools for managing vulnerabilities, assets, and services
• Very good English skills in spoken and written; other languages such as German are an advantage
• Occasional willingness to travel internationally
