It ensures national and international coordination for various categories of crime and prepares analyses on criminal phenomena and police reports. The FJP also acts as a national competence center for the fight against digital crime. The Economic Crime division of the FJP conducts police investigation procedures according to the Code of Criminal Procedure, as well as instructions under the direction of the Federal Public Prosecutor's Office.
