Are audiovisual media your passion and is their long-term preservation close to your heart? At the Staatsarchiv Luzern, you will take on a central role in the preservation and accessibility of the audiovisual cultural heritage of Central Switzerland and also participate in further accessibility projects.

Your tasks

• With care and system, you evaluate and make AV holdings accessible in close cooperation with the responsible archivists.
• Thanks to your communication skills, you answer inquiries regarding image rights, AV archiving, and related specialist topics competently and understandably.
• You assess the conservation state of the holdings with a trained eye and coordinate the necessary measures prudently.
• For public relations, you prepare image material with a sense for visual language.
• In digitization, you actively contribute technical understanding and initiative.

Your profile

• You have a completed degree in history, art history, or information science, or a comparable education.
• You bring several years of experience in archival accessibility, particularly in the field of AV media.
• Whether independently or in a team - you feel at home in both working styles.
• Ideally, you have further training in the field of archiving and conservation of AV media.
• Knowledge of the Luzern cultural scene as well as familiarity with local construction and monument history are also an advantage.
