The BERNER RECHTSBERATUNGSSTELLE FÜR MENSCHEN IN NOT provides asylum seekers with access to justice. In the accelerated asylum procedure, it is responsible for comprehensive legal protection in the asylum regions Basel, Bern and Zürich.

For legal representation in Basel, we are looking for, effective immediately or by arrangement, a:

Jurist 80-100 %

What you can contribute:

• independent case management
• legal advice and representation of clients
• accompanying clients to official appointments
• drafting submissions and complaint letters
• legal and country-specific clarifications

What you bring with you:

• law degree (lic./M Law)
• interest in Swiss asylum and migration law
• strong legal-editorial skills in German
• negotiation skills in dealing with authorities
• transcultural sensitivity
