Line Manager - Safety, Security & Environment (M/F)

Introduction ##

For our Purchasing, Support & Infrastructure division, we are looking for a Line Manager (M/F) for the Safety, Security & Environment (SSE) Projects team, whose main mission will be to lead a team responsible for implementing projects for the entire department.

Responsibilities ##

• Communicate department orientations, set objectives, and support employees in achieving them
• Organize team activity by ensuring the adequacy between workload, capacity, and skills
• Develop the skills, autonomy, and engagement of project managers
• Create a framework of trust, promoting communication, cohesion, and collective performance, with demanding and benevolent line management
• Manage the SSE project portfolio and guarantee the achievement of quality, cost, deadline, and risk management objectives
• Supervise projects from their scoping to their deployment, ensuring appropriate governance and reporting
• Define priorities, monitor project progress, anticipate deviations, and prepare necessary arbitrations
• Lead operational reviews, steering committees, and portfolio monitoring bodies
• Support project managers in complex situations and take charge, if necessary, of certain strategic or sensitive projects
• Deploy and implement the department's project management standards, methods, and tools, in a logic of continuous improvement of processes and work practices
• Manage activity using relevant indicators and contribute to the reliability of management data
• Develop relationships of trust with partner services and coordinate the interfaces necessary for the success of projects
• Ensure compliance with safety, security, environment, confidentiality, compliance, and business continuity requirements

Profile ##

• Higher technical or university education: HES/EPF engineer, Bachelor or Master in engineering, management, or equivalent training
• Recognized certification in project management required: PMP, IPMA, PRINCE2 Practitioner or equivalent
• Proven experience in managing complex, cross-functional, and multi-stakeholder projects
• Successful experience in team management or strong functional leadership experience
• Good mastery of project methodologies, planning, risk management, budget monitoring, and reporting
• Experience in an industrial, technical, regulated, or demanding environment is appreciated
• Good knowledge of standard office tools and project management tools
• Excellent command of spoken and written French; English is an asset
