REHAB Basel, Clinic for Neurorehabilitation and Paraplegiology, treats and rehabilitates patients with spinal cord injuries, brain injuries, and related clinical pictures following accidents or illnesses. Our ultimate goal is to achieve the greatest possible independence and an optimal quality of life together with the people entrusted to us. We treat successfully in the area of initial as well as follow-up rehabilitation.

The clinic has 110 beds and an outpatient operation. Around 660 employees implement the visions and values of REHAB Basel in their daily work. You work in a unique building in the attractive tri-border area of Switzerland, Germany and France.

From the first day of the inpatient stay to the outpatient setting, we accompany our patients with our physiotherapeutic measures. Physiotherapy is part of the interprofessional team and, after a thorough assessment, pursues the established goals methodically according to home and other concepts.
Our physiotherapists are specialized in various techniques and concepts.

To complement our specialist team, we are looking for a Specialist Physiotherapy 60%-80% starting January 1, 2027 or by arrangement.

Your area of responsibility:

Professional team development

• Development, implementation and evaluation of evidence-informed best-practice concepts for physiotherapeutic assessment and treatment
• Support of the professional and clinical further development of employees through supervision, mentoring and individual consultation
• Promotion of professional exchange and knowledge transfer in the team by accompanying specialist groups as well as the planning and implementation of internal training

Clinical activity

• Physiotherapeutic assessment and treatment of patients with complex neurological clinical pictures
• Implementation of evidence-informed and patient-centered evaluation and treatment approaches in clinical practice

Data management and research

• Organization, preparation and evaluation of clinical data and research data for the evaluation of the effectiveness of treatment approaches and clinical processes
• Participation in clinic-related research and development projects

Your profile

• Completed MSc
• Certified Physiotherapist HF / FH
• Several years of professional experience in neurorehabilitation and paraplegiology
• Good methodical and didactic competencies
• Basic knowledge of data management, database structures and data organization
• Experience with REDCap, especially in the development and construction of projects, is an advantage
• Very good German skills as well as English skills for the processing of specialist literature
