For an institution in the field of acute care in Basel and the Basel region, we are looking for a committed dipl. Pflegefachperson HF/FH with experience in surgical nursing. You will accompany patients before and after operative procedures and make an important contribution to professional and individual care.

Requirement profile ##

• Completed training as a dipl. Pflegefachperson HF/FH or equivalent, SRK-recognized training
• At least six months of professional experience in acute care
• Experience in the surgical field is an advantage
• Knowledge in pre- and postoperative care
• Confidence in dealing with complex and rapidly changing nursing situations
• Good medical-technical skills and strong observational skills
• Independent, structured, and responsible way of working
• Resilience and flexibility in a dynamic working environment
• Strong social and communication competence
• Enjoyment of interprofessional cooperation
• Good German language skills in speaking and writing

Tasks ##

• Professional nursing and care of patients with surgical clinical pictures
• Preoperative preparation and postoperative monitoring and care
• Independent planning, implementation, and evaluation of the nursing process
• Monitoring the state of health and early recognition of possible complications
• Implementation of medical-technical and therapeutic measures within your own area of competence
• Professional wound management and postoperative mobilization
• Close interprofessional cooperation and electronic nursing documentation
