Cleaning Staff on an hourly basis

The Justizvollzugsanstalt Bostadel is an independent public-law institution. It is operated by the cantons of Basel-Stadt and Zug and has 108 places in regular detention and 12 places in a security department. Around 90 employees work at the JVA Bostadel, who ensure security within the institution as well as contribute to providing meaningful occupation and resocialization for the 120 prisoners.

Cleaning Staff on an hourly basis (approx. 30 % workload)

This is your job - the tasks

• Cleaning and care of office rooms, common areas, sanitary facilities, and other operational rooms
• Maintenance and interim cleaning of various rooms of the JVA Bostadel
• Cleaning and care of floors, furniture, glazing, doors, and other surfaces
• Professional separation and disposal of waste
• Careful and environmentally friendly handling of cleaning agents, materials, and equipment
• Independent execution of work according to the cleaning plan
• Assistance with other arising work in the area of cleaning

What you bring – the requirements

• Experience in professional cleaning is an advantage
• Independent, reliable, and conscientious way of working
• Enjoyment of cleanliness and a well-maintained working environment
• Flexibility and ability to work in a team
• Good physical resilience
• Good German language skills
