Student Assistant Radiology (m/f/d) Starting immediately or by arrangement

Our modern radiology department covers the entire spectrum of diagnostic imaging. This includes: Conventional X-ray, Ultrasound, Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR), Mammography, Interventional Radiology and fluoroscopy diagnostics. Our team consists of approximately 30 radiology specialists (RFP)/students as well as 2 Medical Practice Assistants (MPA). ### Your Tasks As a student assistant, you will support our team particularly during off-peak hours, on weekends and public holidays. Your tasks include, among others: • Support with patient transfers between the emergency station and radiology • Care and support of patients • Assistance with repositioning and preparation for examinations • Checking and verifying questionnaires and documents • Administrative activities and documentation • Restocking and refilling materials • General support of the radiological team in daily and emergency operations. For medical students, there is additionally - depending on level of training and competence - the possibility to perform venipunctures and the placement of venous access under appropriate guidance. Deployment Times Deployments take place flexibly by arrangement: During the week • Support during off-peak hours from approx. 16:00 to approx. 22:00 Wweekends and public holidays • Deployments from approx. 12:00 to approx. 20:00 The exact deployment planning is carried out individually and by mutual agreement. Your Profile We are particularly addressing: • Medical students • Students in healthcare • General students with interest in hospital daily life and patient contact. Ideally, you bring the following qualities: • Empathic and respectful handling of patients • Joy in working in an interprofessional team • High reliability and sense of responsibility • Resilience and calm action even in hectic situations • Independent and careful way of working • Good communication skills • Flexibility regarding working hours • Discretion and professional appearance • Interest in medical processes and radiological examinations. Experience in healthcare is an advantage, but not a requirement.
