Berne, Switzerland | 80-100% What you can contribute <br /> • As part of the bilateral agreements with the EU and EFTA member states, you autonomously calculate and verify the settlements of cross-border commuters and decide on their approval or refusal • You ensure the smooth running of financial operations and billing with the EU and EFTA member states • You manage the financial accounting of the UC compensation organism (accounts receivable and payable) and participate in the preparation of monthly and annual accounts • You provide support for the treasury management of the UC fund and ensure the payment of financial advances to unemployment insurance • You provide specialized information to Swiss and foreign authorities • You participate in projects and the writing of specialized reports <br /> What makes you unique <br /> • Commercial training followed by continuing education as an employee in the field of social insurance or accounting • Several years of professional experience in the relevant field • Interest in complex financial issues, as well as a rigorous and analytical approach • Very good command of MS Office and SAP; knowledge of the principles of the free movement of persons within the EU is an asset • Reliability and independence in work, supported by a high degree of personal responsibility • Good knowledge of two official languages orally and in writing; knowledge of English allowing collaboration with our international partners <br /> In a few words The SECO Labor Directorate is part of the Confederation's competence center for all central issues relating to labor market policy and unemployment insurance (UC). The Labor Market and Unemployment Insurance benefits center is responsible for the unemployment insurance law. The Free Movement of Persons and Maternity Insurance group, attached to the Finance and Controlling sector, ensures the application of the bilateral agreements concluded with the member states of the European Union and the EFTA in the field of the free movement of persons. You are responsible for the financial processing of cross-border workers' settlements and collaborate with national and international partners.
