Tasks

• Ensuring the operational purchasing for the product ranges of electrical kitchen appliances, consumer electronics, and batteries, including conducting price, condition, and contract negotiations
• Co-shaping the assortment, format, and promotion strategy in collaboration with the Purchasing Product Manager for the sales channels Coop Supermarket, Department Store, Jumbo, and Online
• Analysis and processing of the relevant procurement markets in Europe and the Far East, as well as co-responsibility for the selection, support, and further development of the supplier and business partner portfolio
• Responsibility for the operational implementation of private label and new product launches while ensuring competitive conditions and defined quality standards
• Identification and early detection of trends and innovations, visiting relevant national and international trade fairs, as well as deriving corresponding impulses for assortment and promotions

Requirements

• Completed commercial basic training with further training as a Marketing Specialist or completed studies (University / Fachhochschule) with a focus on marketing
• Several years of professional experience in purchasing and/or product management, preferably in retail
• Knowledge of retail as well as the relevant product groups is an advantage
• Strong negotiating, committed, and independent personality with pronounced social competence
• Very good German and English skills in speaking and writing, French skills are an advantage
