Project Manager Technical Large-Scale Fleet Projects

You are responsible for the technical requirements in the procurement of new rail vehicles in passenger transport and accompany the implementation from planning to realization.

Tasks

• Responsible for technical requirements for the procurement of new rail vehicles
• Create technical specifications together with internal and external specialists
• Technically review offers from vehicle manufacturers
• Functional leadership of the involved specialists across all project phases
• Define and review requirements taking into account life cycle costs, reliability, and maturity
• Drive the further development of requirements management for procurement projects

Profile

• Several years of experience in technical project management, ideally in the procurement of rail vehicles or in the railway environment
• Completed technical studies at a college, university, or university of applied sciences
• Further training in project management, preferably with certification according to IPMA at least level C
• Very good German language skills in speaking and writing at level C2
• Good English language skills at least level B2
• Independent, solution-oriented way of working and confident communication with various stakeholders
