Business Analyst – Enterprise Data Management (EDM)

Context

As part of a strategic Data transformation program, our client is looking for a Business Analyst specializing in Enterprise Data Management (EDM) and Instrument Data Management to support the evolution of its financial data management platform.

You will work on the management of securities master data, data quality, and the integration of flows feeding Wealth Management and Asset Management activities.

Your missions

• Gather and analyze the needs of the Front Office, Risk, Operations, and Finance teams.
• Participate in the design of EDM solutions: ingestion, validation, enrichment, and distribution of data.
• Ensure the management and quality of financial reference data.
• Define control rules, KPI, and quality indicators.
• Participate in the integration of financial data providers.
• Lead business workshops and coordinate the various project stakeholders.
• Produce functional documentation and support users.

Functional skills

• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in EDM, Reference Data, or Security Master.
• Solid knowledge of financial instruments:
• ISIN, CUSIP, SEDOL
• Corporate Actions
• Pricing
• Classifications and securities master data
• Experience in a banking, Asset Management, or Wealth Management environment.
• Knowledge of data providers such as Bloomberg, Refinitiv, or SIX.

Technical skills

• Experience on an EDM or Security Master platform:
• NeoXam DataHub
• GoldenSource
• Markit EDM
• SimCorp
• Aladdin
• or equivalent
• Good command of SQL.
• Knowledge of integration flows, API, XML / JSON.
• Cloud experience and Agile environments are a plus.
