Senior Strategic Buyer (m/f/d)

Your tasks

• Independent strategic management of product groups e.g. electrical engineering, electronics, drive technology or machining/casting
• Preparation and execution of price and contract negotiations
• Development of savings potentials and improvement measures incl. implementation
• Responsible coordination and implementation of supplier escalations within the framework of bottleneck management
• Design and implementation of product group strategies for own product groups
• Setup and qualification of new suppliers and development of existing suppliers
• Conduct worldwide procurement market research
• Ensuring the availability of production material for the business units machine tools, laser technology (incl. EUV) and power tools in cooperation with scheduling and quality management
• Initiation and support of supplier audits as a supplier auditor
• Support in the further development of (existing) systems / processes
• Leading or participating in procurement projects e.g. MGK reduction or shortening of replacement time
• Creation and maintenance of master data as well as processing of invoice discrepancies

What we are looking for

• Degree with a focus on industrial engineering or business administration
• At least 7 years of experience in strategic/technical procurement in a technical environment (mechanical engineering, automotive, medical technology or aerospace)
• Very good communication skills, negotiation skills and assertiveness
• Analytical and entrepreneurial thinking
• Independent, structured, reliable and precise way of working
• Sound knowledge of MS Office and SAP (R/3 or S4 HANA)
• Travel activity 10%
• Business fluent language skills in German and English
