This is what you can achieve. • You oversee the construction, maintenance, and repair of interlocking systems, thereby ensuring safe and punctual rail traffic. • In doing so, you ensure the decommissioning and commissioning of electronic interlockings and relay interlockings. • With your systematic approach, you recognize irregularities and defects, report them, and drive their rectification and improvements within the team. • In the Sargans area, you will be deployed at various locations indoors and outdoors and experience a varied working day. • You will complete an internal two-year training program to become a signaling systems technician and learn to independently locate and rectify faults in indoor facilities. • During on-call service, you independently locate and rectify faults in safety systems. This is what you bring with you. • You enjoy working in a team, take on responsibility, and communicate clearly and in a solution-oriented manner. • Safety is your priority and you approach tasks systematically to solve problems in a structured way. • You have completed basic training with EFZ in an electrotechnical profession such as automation, electromechanics, or electrical installation or a comparable qualification. • You have the necessary endurance for deployment in shift operations. You are attentive, concentrated, and physically resilient to successfully manage this demanding work in 24-hour shift operations. Additionally, you enjoy working outside in all weather. • In order to perform on-call service, you possess a category B driver's license. You bring German language skills at level B2 in speaking and writing.
