Our nursing care, hospitality, dietetics, administration, sociocultural animation, and admission services are made up of multidisciplinary teams, committed, qualified, and trained professionals who surround our elderly in an adapted, secure, and pleasant structure. We are looking for our restaurant sector: A 100% RESTAURANT MANAGER We are looking for a dynamic and experienced restaurant manager to join our team and contribute to the management of the restaurant sector. You will be the guarantor of customer satisfaction and good management of the room. This position is an exceptional opportunity to join an institution in full expansion and to play a key role in the gastronomic renewal of our establishment. Main missions: Room and event management: - Ensure the follow-up of the implementation and optimal organization of the room before each service; - Set up and follow the different events organized within Val Fleuri; - Imagine and implement new service offers and organize operating procedures; - Monitor the maintenance and upkeep of the restaurant and its equipment. Team supervision: - Frame, train, and motivate the team of servers to guarantee high-quality service; - Organize and animate team meetings (briefings and debriefings), supervise, involve, and motivate staff to ensure good internal communication; - Be able to replace one of the collaborators of the restaurant team, whatever the reason. Customer service: - Ensure the satisfaction of residents, their families, and employees coming to eat, respond to their needs, and resolve any problems with professionalism and courtesy. Coordination: - Collaborate closely with the Chef and kitchen staff to ensure smooth coordination between the room and the kitchen; - Collaborate closely with the nursing, animation, and economics sectors. Administrative management: - Supervise reservations, manage service equipment stocks, and ensure compliance with hygiene and safety standards; - Plan teams with the best possible efficiency; - Produce forecasts related to human and material resources and compare the difference between the estimated needs and reality on the ground; - Manage the cash register and money movements as well as control and ensure the operation of the computer system of the said. Commercial development: - Actively participate in the implementation of strategies to attract and retain customers; - Present an attractive map and study menu planning with the Chef; - Accompany the management in the reflection of concepts, animations, and propose arrangements. Profile sought: Experience: - Minimum 5 years of experience as a Room Manager in a restaurant with table service. Leadership: - Excellent management and communication skills, with a proven ability to motivate and lead a team; - Decision-making and determination spirit. Customer orientation: - Sharp sense of customer service, with the ability to anticipate and respond to customer needs in a proactive manner; - Experience in a medico-social establishment, an undeniable asset; - Knowledge of Geneva-based companies, a plus. Organization: - Great rigor and sense of organization, with the ability to manage several tasks simultaneously; - Excellent knowledge of conference and banquet organization (event management up to 300 people); - Scheduling management, knowledge of PEP software, an asset; - This type of employment implies prolonged standing and many handling; - Likely to work in the evening, on weekends, and holidays.
